Armed Robbery at Plainfield Gas Station

Police are looking for the man who robbed a BP gas station in Plainfield.

Plainfield police are looking for the man who robbed a gas station just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police responded to a hold-up alarm at BP Gas Station at 309 Putnam Road in the Wauregan section at 9:50 p.m.

Police said an armed man in a black mask that covered from the nose down, a  black baseball cap and a black hoodie stole cash and fled on foot southbound toward Shepard Hill Road. 

Members of the Connecticut State Police arrived at the scene and conducted a K-9 track but did not find the robber.
