A 55-year-old Branford man is in serious condition after his scooter crashed into the back of a pickup on Saturday night.
Police said Robert Milne was traveling east in the area of Acorn Road when he hit the back of a 2015 Toyota Tacoma that was stopped in traffic on Gould Lane around 9 p.m. on Saturday.
Milne, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered serious life-threatening injuries and Branford Fire Department Paramedics transported him to Yale-New Haven Hospital, police said.
Police are investigating.
