West Haven police are investigating a hotel robbery that happened early Sunday morning.
A woman who may have been using a Hampton Inn Hotel room for business was robbed at gunpoint "by a patronizing client," police said. It happened at about 6:30 a.m. at the hotel on Sawmill Road.
Detectives responded soon after to investigate.
