Town of Greenwich Issues Snow Emergency

The town of Greenwich has issued a snow emergency effective at 4:00 pm.

Capt. Robert Berry with the Greenwich police urged people to not park on designated snow emergency roads. As an alternative, Berry asks that people park at municipal buildings.

Greenwich may get up to 20 inches of snow by midnight and will experience blizzard conditions until then, Berry warned. 

A list of snow emergency roads are availabe on the town's website.

Earlier on Saturday, one person was injured when a CT Transit bus crashed into a utility pole in Greenwich.
