Wahackme Road in New Canaan is closed after a large tree fell down onto power lines Sunday afternoon.
Police said the road is closed between Wahackme Lane and Chichester Road. It’s expected to take several hours to clear the tree and make repairs.
Drivers should avoid the area if possible.
