A former assistant Boy Scout leader who was charged last month with the sex assault of two boys has also been charged with possession of child pornography.
Rocky Hill police arrested Mark Alexander, 33, on Wednesday. They said they found child pornography on his computer.
New Britain police said Alexander is accused of sexually assaulting two boys between 2000 and 2006 at his house and on Scout camp-outs.
On Jan. 26, New Britain Police Department executed a search and seizure warrant on Alexander’s house in Rocky Hill.
Alexander turned himself in to police when he learned Rocky Hill officers were looking for him, police said.
He is being held on $500,000 bond.
