Police said Malbouef was also identified as a suspect in the thefts of storm drain grates in the Huntington Drive area in September 2013.

He was charged with two counts of fourth-degree larceny, one count of fifth-degree larceny, one count of conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny and one count of conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny and appeared in court today.

The investigation is ongoing and police said they expect to make additional arrests.
