An armed man wearing a mask and a blue suede jogging suit robbed the Bank of Southern Connecticut at 215 Church St. in New Haven on Wednesday afternoon.

The man walked into the bank just after 1 p.m., showed a gun, demanded cash and ran away with some, New Haven police said. It’s not clear if he got away on foot or in a getaway vehicle.

The New Haven Register reports that the man was wearing a fedora, but police could not confirm that for NBC Connecticut.
