A 20-year-old Clinton woman who was accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy she was babysitting in her hometown has been charged with sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor in Southington.
Loni Bouchard turned herself in to Southington police on July 29. Police said she is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy “who is known to her.”
Clinton police charged Bouchard on July 12 with second-degree sexual assault, two counts of risk of injury to a child and illegal purchase of liquor, according to court documents.
The Hartford Courant reports that the arrest in Clinton came after a three-month investigation into an alleged sexual relationship she had with a 14-year-old boy she was babysitting.
Whether the two alleged incidents involve the same teenage boy is not known.
Bouchard was released on $1,000 bond in the Southington case and she is due in court on Aug. 12.
Her next court case on the Clinton charges is Aug. 19.
