Naugatuck police have arrested one of their own.

Peter Bosco, a 13-year member of the department, is accused of having a physical dispute with his live-in girlfriend, police said.

Police began investigating on Tuesday, May 18, and family members told police about the fight.

Bosco has been on leave due to a work-related disability, police said.

He was charged with one count of disorderly conduct and has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
