North Haven police have seized a kilo of heroin that was heading to the New Haven area.
Police said Officer Alan Cantele and his drug detection K-9, “Koda,” were instrumental seizing the drugs.
Cantele had received a tip in a suspicious package and “Koda” detected the package, who contained pure heroin, police said.
