Shelton Police Investigate Armed Robbery

Shelton police released this photo from surveillance from the robbery at a Shell station on Saturday.

Shelton police are looking for the man who committed an armed robbery at the Shell Gas Station at 99 Bridgeport Ave. around 10 p.m. on Saturday.
 
An employee told police that a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a black cloth covering his face entered the store, went by the register, showed a gun and demanded money.

The man left the store with an undetermined amount of money and the employee was not injured. No one else was in the store when the robbery happened.

Detectives are investigating and ask anyone with any information about the robbery to call the Detective Bureau at (203) 924-1544.
