Wallingford Residents: ‘We're Ready'

From plow drivers to commuters, people in Wallingford said they are ready for the storm and the half a foot of snow it could bring.

Some like Ravi Patel prepared by pumping gas.

"We all know what might happen in Connecticut, especially in Wallingford," Patel said. "We’re all set for it, pumping the gas, make sure it’s full."

We found Bill Tsolis doing the same. But he was filling up his work truck, which he uses to plow for business.

“We have to call in, we have to get our salt delivered and you know basically just make sure that trucks are ready to go and we have to fine tune everything,” said Tsolis.

It's all a domino effect, as customers fill up, Raj Patel who works at a Citgo gas station said he'll start seeing the traffic come into his convenience store.

“Hoping more busy later on but still people working right now so hopefully later on."

Some call the incoming storm a "practice storm" for one that is supposed to hit early next week.

Wallingford saw about 10 inches of snow from the storm that crushed much of the East Coast nearly two weeks ago.
