The parents of James Foley, the American photojournalist beheaded by Islamic militants, said Wednesday that they are "haunted" by the gruesomeness of the his death, but that they believe he was "a martyr for freedom." Foley's parents also revealed that they found out about his death "like everyone else," with the news that the terrorist group had killed him and posted a video online, although they said they have not watched it.
