Three New Milford High School students have been arrested and face possible expulsion for allegedly selling marijuana-laced brownies at school.
Police told The News-Times of Danbury that three boys, ages 14, 15 and 16, were charged with drug crimes, released to the custody of their parents and ordered to appear in Danbury Juvenile Court next week. School officials said the boys also are facing disciplinary action including potential expulsion.
The students' names weren't released because of juvenile offender laws.
The school resource office began investigating March 18 after school officials learned a student was trying to sell pot brownies to other students.
Police said one boy sold the brownies to a second teen, who sold them to a third boy who planned to sell them to other students.
