In October, the Mark Twain House and Museum will again offer ghost tours and they urge you to sign up early.

Appearances on "Ghost Hunters," "Ghost Hunters Academy," and "My Ghost Story" have made the Hartford landmark a popular place to visit as Halloween approaches.

The one-hour tour takes guests through all three floors of the house, plus the servants' wing and the spooky basement.  Guests in the past have heard tales of Victorian seances and tragedies in the Twain family.

Reservations are required and the tour is not recommended for children under the age of 10.

To book your tour, call 860-280-3130.
