'The Long And Winding Road' could lead to Connecticut for Paul McCartney's latest tour.

A leading Beatles authority says on the websiteThe Examiner, that there are plans for McCartney to play at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.

"The Cute Beatle" has already scheduled dates in Arizona, Florida and California, as well as some dates in Europe this summer.

Although there are no official announcements about a Connecticut date, Beatles source Steve Marinucci says a Rentschler show is in the works.

Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones and The Police have all played shows at Rentschler.

A spokesman for Northland AEG, which operates Rentschler Field, have not returned calls for a comment on the report.
