Traffic is getting by after a crash on Interstate 84 Eastbound in Vernon early Monday morning.

Three tractor-trailers were involved in a crash between exits 66 and 67 just before 4 a.m., according to an alert from the state Department of Transportation.

The road was closed, but traffic is moving again as of 6:45 a.m. How much of the road is open is not clear.

The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and the state Department of Consumer Protection have been contacted to inspect a food additive that one of the trucks is carrying.

Wreckers were brought in to move the trucks out of the way to open the road for the morning commuter rush.
