It appears that even Spencer Pratt can have regrets.
"The Hills" villain expressed remorse over his failed marriage in a long apology released to the public this week, reports People.
"Divorce can be a trying, draining and emotionally devastating experience for all involved," Pratt said in an interview with the magazine. "Despite these hardships, most individuals manage to conduct themselves with dignity and maturity. I did not - I failed spectacularly."
Pratt also said he had "horribly embarrassed the one person that meant the world to me" with his actions. Since their relationship first hit the rocks, Pratt has threatened to release a sex tape involving Montag, attacked her on Twitter, and has been following her around in Costa Rica.
"Over the years, her love, support, and friendship were always given, but never properly cherished. I let her down," he said. "Even though our relationship has changed, I will always count her among my best friends."
