JUST IN: Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Hartford County

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Hartford County until 4 p.m. and a watch is posted statewide until 8 p.m.

Storm will continue through midnight. While a severe storm is possible, the risk is low.

Temperatures will soar into the lower 90s inland.

At 2 p.m., it felt like over 100 degrees in Hartford.

Quite a dry stretch of weather sets in Tuesday, and the humidity will be much lower.

Temperatures will be in the lower and middle 80s Tuesday, but back up near 90 degrees starting Thursday.

There's an outside chance for a thunderstorm Friday.

A few showers are possible Saturday, but overall it looks like another hot summer weekend with temperatures in the lower 90s.
