Music for Democracy: Los Lobos are coming to Connecticut.  They're performing at The Ridgefield Playhouse at 9 p.m.  You know these guys - the did a cover of La Bamba for "Guitar Hero: World Tour." 

For the Soul: The Bushnell is hosting Hot Chocolate Soul at 9 p.m. It's a balance of music, comedy, and poetry presented by June Archer and Eleven 28 Entertainment Group.  Tickets are $27. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Irish Spirit: The Three Irish Tenors Druid are coming to the Warner Theater in Torrington.  The show is a salute to their Irish heritage, and tickets start at just $29.50. The show starts at 8 p.m.

Saturday

Maple Festival: Head over to Hebron for some sweet fun. It's a maple festival covering absolutely all things maple: syrup, cotton candy and sugar houses are just the tip of the iceberg. They also have dog sled exhibitions, chainsaw carvers, pony rides and finger-painting.

Five-Course Love: The musical comedy kicks off at The Spirit of Broadway Theater in Norwich this weekend.  It's the story about three actors who play 15 different characters in five different restaurants on the hunt for one true love. Sheesh. They're having an opening gala for the show that will run you $75. Yeah, it's pricey, but you get champagne, drinks, hors d'ourves, gourmet foods and some killer desserts and coffees. Dress in anything from black tie to mafia or lace.

Rabbit Breakfast: The Easter Bunny is heading to New Britain a little early. He'll be appearing at a special breakfast at Stanley Golf Course at 9 a.m.  Admission is $5 per person.  It includes breakfast, entertainment and a free bucket of golf balls at the driving range.

Click it or Ticket: Buckle up. Tickets are as low as $10 to see the Hartford Wolfpack take on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the XL Center.  It's part of a partnership they're doing with the state. The puck hits the ice at 7 p.m.

Sunday

Big Beasts: The Monster Jam is returning to the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport. These 10,000 pound, 1,500 horsepower, four-wheel drive bad boys will be devouring everything in their paths. The show is at 2 p.m. It will be loud and crowd will be wowed.

Stars on Ice: Smuckers is bringing the stars to the ice at the XL Center in Hartford.  The world's best skaters, including Sasha Cohen and Todd Eldredge, will push the limits with some hot songs and wild moves.

Luck of the Irish: Dress in your finest green outfits and head out to New Haven for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. Floats, songs, marchers and bands - this parade has it all. Grab a green beer downtown before the night is over.
