Winter Wonderland - Perhaps the coolest event to hit Connecticut in awhile is going on at Foxwoods MGM tonight. It's The Winter White Party at Shrine with celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson and special guest host Lindsay Lohan. That's right, THE Lindsay Lohan. Dress code is all white attire. It's $20 to get in but you can get reduced admission by here. They've also got all sorts of prize packages and $59 MGM Grand rooms.
Visit South Africa - From 6-8 p.m. tonight, you can attend a South African Wine Tasting at The Farmington Gourmet. Twenty dollars buys you samples of some distinctive wines paired with delicious hors d'oeuvres. These events often sell out, so make your reservations early.
Music and More - There's great happy hour event at Apricots in Farmington from 6-10 p.m. For $5, you'll get cosmos, appletinis, pom poms or Apricots' Champagne. They'll also have honey ham for you to sample. Random, maybe -- tasty, yes. Nancy Morris will be there on the piano. We've seen her before. Trust me, she's amazing.
