Two hikers were rescued after they became lost on Talcott Mountain in Simsbury Saturday evening.
A man and a woman were hiking towards Heubelin Tower when they became lost, said fire officials.
The hikers used their cell phones to call 911 at around 9:00 p.m. when they lost site of the marked trail that they were hiking along.
Simsbury Fire, police and officials from the Department of Environmental Protection were dispatched to the mountain to aid the hikers.
Both of the hikers were located and brought safely down the mountain within forty minutes.
Neither of the hikers were injured, said DEP officials.
