One person was killed in a crash on Torrington Road in Winchester Sunday.
Police said the vehicle was traveling north on Torrington Road when the car crossed the yellow line and drove off the road, hitting a large boulder.
The driver, 37-year-old Richard Halsted, Jr., suffered a severe head injury. He was taken to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and then airlifted to Saint Francis, but died of his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
