Suspect in Murder in Brazil Detained in Putnam: I.C.E.

Federal immigration officials have apprehended dozens of people suspected of living in the country illegally, including one person in Connecticut who they said was wanted for murder in Brazil. 

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have detained 58 people in raids this week in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. 

A news release from I.C.E. said they arrested a 59-year old national of Brazil in Putnam who is wanted for murder in Brazil.

A net was cast over the victim, who was stabbed 20 times, according to federal authorities.
