Police have canceled a Silver Alert for a 76-year-old man who had been missing since last week after he was found safe on Wednesday.
Police said Robert Wetherbee was heading from his home in Maine to a friend's house in Windham and had not shown up.
On Wednesday, Connecticut State Police said Wetherbee was found safe in Norwich by Norwich Police officers. He will be transported to Backus Hospital for an evaluation.
