83-Year-Old Man in Critical Condition After Pedestrian Crash in Shelton: PD

An 83-year-old man is in critical condition after getting hit by a car in Shelton on Friday night.

First responders were called to Howe Avenue and Grove Street around 5:30 p.m. after getting a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle.

Officers said the pedestrian, an 83-year-old man from Shelton, was transported from the scene to Bridgeport Hospital and was reportedly in critical condition. The 68-year-old male driver remained on scene after the crash.

No enforcement has been taken while the accident remains under investigation.
