A motorcyclist was badly injured in a crash with a truck on the Berlin Turnpike, near Deming Road, in Berlin, according to police.
Police asked drivers to avoid the area after the motorcycle and a four-door pickup collided.
The motorcyclist was taken to Hartford Hospital and the Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Squad is assisting.
