State Police Narcotics Task Force Arrests Baltic Man Accused of Selling Heroin

A Baltic man was arrested on drug charges after a months-long investigation into heroin sales by the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force.

Tomas Ortiz, 53, of Main Street in Baltic, faces two counts of sale of heroin.

Police said Ortiz was arrested on August 8, 2016 after an investigation into heroin sales in the Sprague area. He was assigned a $150,000 bond and is expected in court Tuesday.
