Police are investigating a shooting, assault and attempted robbery in New Haven early Thursday morning.
One person was shot and another was assaulted, according to police.
Officers responded to a call at 1:15 a.m.
They believe the shooting happened in the area of Poplar Street and Grand Avenue and the victim ran down Grand Avenue to Ferry Street.
The shooting victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and no additional information was immediately available.
