Police are searching for the man who stole money from a Bank of America branch in New Milford and told tellers he had a gun on Wednesday.
According to police, a man wearing a gray camouflage coat and black winter hat with a white logo on the front entered the bank at 55 Main Street in New Milford and demanded money.
He implied that he had a gun but didn't display a weapon, police said. The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police are asking for help in tracking him down. The suspect is in his 30s or 40s and stands between 6 feet and 6 feet 3 inches tall. He has a gray goatee and was wearing gray sweatpants with cargo pockets, gloves and black sneakers with white shoelaces.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
