Reward Offered in Somers Mill Fire Case

Fire broke out early Saturday morning at the mill that spun fabric until 1969. It was ruled arson.

State police are looking for the person who set fire to the Somersville Mill in Somers over the weekend and a $2,500 reward is being offered.

Fire broke out early Saturday morning at the mill that spun fabric until 1969.

The fire was so intense that crews from across the state and Massachusetts responded to assist. All that remains of the building now is a metal skeleton.

State police detectives are looking for help from anyone who has information relevant to the investigation and the reward is for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.
