The state board of education will tackle a bullying lawsuit during its meeting this morning in Hartford.
Meghan Williams filed the lawsuit against the Connecticut Technical High School System, according to the meeting agenda.
The Hartford Courant reports that Williams, 19, was a student at Howell Cheney Technical High School in Manchester and is seeking $750,000 in damages.
Williams said she was the subject of racism when two boys attacked her verbally and physically in the 2008-to-2009 school year because she's black and she claims the school didn't do enough to help her.
