A Vernon man ended 2010 by getting tasered by police twice.

Vernon police say 39-year-old Christopher Ericsson was falling down drunk on Route 30 Friday evening. When police tried to help him he started trying to fight them. When officers tried to warn Ericsson to stay back, he again advanced officers and had to be subdued with a taser and taken to jail.

Once in the cell at police headquarters Ericsson began kicking and punching the door. He again got aggressive with police and had to be tasered.

Ericcson remained in jail on New Years Day and will be arraigned on Monday facing charges of interfering with police and disorderly conduct.
