Victim Was Shot in Neck in Hartford

Police are looking for the gunman who shot someone in the neck in Hartford on Sunday night.

The victim, identified only as a male, was found with a gunshot wound to the neck at a friend’s house on Cornwall Street in Hartford at 11:43 p.m.

Police said someone was following the victim’s Infinity north on Cornwall Street when a person who was in the car fired the shots.

Both drivers lost control of their vehicles and crashed on private property at 66-70 Harold Street, police said.

The victim got out of his car and ran to a friend’s house for help.
The people in the shooters’ car ran through the back yards and police were not able to find them, police said.

The victim was taken to Saint Francis Hospital, where he is stable/guarded condition.
