A Western Connecticut State University student is recovering after being hit by a car on Thursday evening.
Danny Fitzpatrick, 21, had gotten off a shuttle bus and was crossing University Boulevard when another student struck him, according to school officials.
Fitzpatrick was taken to Danbury Hospital, where he is in fair condition.
