    Police said a man stabbed his coworker in the neck over a dispute about potato chips.

    A woman who was forced into a vehicle and kidnapped while dropping her child off in Bridgeport on Friday was found safe in Darien, according to police who said the woman’s estranged boyfriend is suspected. 

    Witnesses immediately contacted police and detectives and school resource officers worked to gather information.

    Police said they were preparing to issue a Silver Alert when Norwalk and State Police saw the suspect’s car heading south on Interstate 95 in Norwalk. 

    Police said they took the suspect into custody in Darien and found the victim in the vehicle, unharmed. 

    Investigators are working with the victim to obtain an arrest warrant for the suspect for an earlier incident and the investigation into the ordeal on Friday is under investigation.
