There was a battle for top dog in Newington on Saturday.
Dogs were dressed in their best Halloween costumes for the first annual Bark Fest contest.
The dogs and their owners all had the chance to win prizes and enjoy plenty of treats.
Money from today's event will benefit local animal shelters across the state.
