Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a condemned house in Hamden.
The body of Darick Cooper, 27, was found on a staircase leading to the second floor apartments of a home at 355 Goodrich St. around 2:30 p.m. Monday, police said.
Cooper died of a gunshot wound, police said.
Investigators aren't sure how long the body has been there, Wydra said.
Neighbors said the house had been vacant since Labor Day and the Hamden building inspector recently condemned it.
