Believe it or not, there are still a few NFL quarterbacking records that do not belong to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. But he’s closing in on another one with  Sunday’s 31-28 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

With the win at Gillette Stadium, Brady ties the record for consecutive home wins for an NFL quarterback. Sunday’s victory makes 25 consecutive home wins, putting Brady even with Brett Favre’s 25 consecutive home win at Lambeau Field for the Green Bay Packers from 1995-1998.

Brady’s home loss to the Ravens last season does not count toward regular season statistics.

Ironically, the last time Brady lost a home game at Gillette Stadium was Nov. 12, 2006 against the New York Jets  – the last game played at Gillette Stadium on natural grass. Two days later, the organization replaced the playing surface with FieldTurf

Brady has not lost a home game since. He’ll try to break the record in the Patriots’ next home game, Monday Night Dec. 6, once against the Jets.
