Connecticut State Police said a man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 395 South in Waterford Monday morning.
Troopers said a motorcyclist rear-ended a car that was slowing down because of traffic near exit 2 around 11:30 a.m. and was thrown from the car. The man, identified as 60-year-old Marc Pennino of Monroe, was not wearing a helmet.
Pennino died of his injuries after being taken to a nearby hospital, state police said.
