An elderly woman was sent to the hospital after she drove through the wall of a Norwich pizza shop Thursday.
Witnesses told the Norwich Bulletin the car came speeding down Hamilton Avenue and through the intersection at East Main Street, narrowly missing other cars, and drove into Castle Pizza on East Main Street.
Luckily for anyone who might have hungered for slice, Castle Pizza was closed for renovations at the time of the 10:39 a.m. accident, according to the Bulletin. Now, the shop will be closed for repairs.
