If you’re a fan of fear, don't leave town this weekend.
The Monster-Mania Convention is coming to Connecticut for the very first time and it will have you screaming with delight (or maybe horror).
The weekend long event takes place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell and will feature a frightening guest list including Robert Englund from Nightmare on Elm Street, Bruce Campbell from Evil Dead and the entire cast of Friday the 13th.
Activities will include panel discussions with the guests, as well as autograph signings by the stars themselves. In addition, well-known freaky flicks will be playing and spooky supplies will be on sale in the vendor room.
If that’s not enough to give you nightmares, there will be live music performances and a wax display of famous horror icons.
The event starts Friday at 6 p.m. with a special screening of Friday the 13th and will end way after dark. So when you head home, be sure to walk in pairs.
Your ticket to terror will only cost you $20 a day. You can also buy a three-day pass for $40.
