An investigation is underway after a man was found with a gunshot wound in East Hartford on Tuesday and later died.
Emergency crews were called to the 900 block of Burnside Avenue around 9:20 p.m. after getting a report of an unresponsive man on the side of the road.
Once in the area, officers found a man who had been shot. He was later pronounced dead.
The man's identity has not yet been released.

Detectives are currently investigating the incident including the circumstances of the man's death.
There is no suspect information available at this time.
