A tree fell across Meriden Avenue in Southington Monday, causing damage to utility lines and police, and closed the street until Tuesday morning.
Police said they responded to the area of 905 Meriden Ave. at 1 p.m. Monday and the road was closed from East Street to Stuart Drive.
The road reopened Tuesday morning.
