Final Four Showtime

Dogs vs. Cats. Calhoun vs. Calipari. Kemba Walker vs. Brandon Knight. All will be decided between the UConn Huskies and the Kentucky Wildcats by night's end.

The teams square off in the Final Four in Houston Saturday night. It's not the first time they have met this season. The first match-up came in the Maui Invitational in November. The Huskies came out on top 84-67 to win the tournament, but that was a long time ago.

UConn, which was unranked when that tournament began, went on to catapult up the rankings, before falling off during conference play, losing four of its last five games in the regular season.

What happened next was nothing short of magic. The team went on a nine-game win streak, including a five wins in five nights to claim the Big East Tournament Championship in early March. The Huskies went on to beat Bucknell, Cincinnati, San Diego State and Arizona to claim a spot in the Final Four. The team's improbable run has been sparked by the amazing play by junior guard Kemba Walker, and solid support from freshmen Jeremy Lamb and Shabazz Napier and sophomore Alex Oriakhi.

A win Saturday night would give coach Jim Calhoun a shot at a third national championship. His teams won titles in 1999 and 2004.
