Flags Ordered at Half-Staff to Honor Nice Attack Victims

Flags will be lowered to half-staff to honor the victims of the Nice attack, according to Gov. Dannel Malloy’s office.

U.S. flags will fly at half-staff until sunset Tuesday in accordance with a proclamation from President Obama. Because no flags should fly higher than the U.S. flag, this means all other flags should be lowered as well.

At least 84 people were killed and dozens others seriously injured when a truck plowed into a crowd on the waterfront promenade during a Bastille Day celebration in Nice, France.
