A four-vehicle accident in Norwalk ended up with one of the vehicles taking down three utility poles and bursting into flames on Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened on Connecticut Avenue.
Bystanders helped two people from the burning car, according to fire officials.
In all, four people were taken to the hospital, two with serious injuries.
Four lanes of Connecticut Avenue were closed and power remained out in the area for most of the afternoon.
