A New York man has serious injuries after a crash that closed Interstate 84 East in Tolland for hours on Monday.
State police said the crash happened just before 10 a.m. near exit 68.
A car traveling east on I-84 swerved into several lanes of traffic and went off the road before rolling over and hitting a tree, according to police.
LifeStar took the driver, a 38-year-old man from Yonkers, New York. to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries. He was able to self-extricate before crews got to the scene.
