A man accused of sexually assaulting a victim in a Willimantic park in 2010 has been charged with first-degree sexual assault. and first-degree unlawful restraint.
Hector Novoa, 23, of Willimantic, was arrested on Sunday night in connection with an incident police said happened in July 2010 in a wooded area of Lauter Park in Willimantic. when Novoa and the victim were teens.
Bond was set at $100,000 and he’s due in court today.
It’s not clear is he has an attorney.
